1) Database of Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) located in the protein coding region

This is the database of Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) mapped on protein structure. We can search the data of SNP on this web site and display the structure of protein with SNP by RasMol.

The process of mapping SNPs on protein is the following.

Map SNP(dbSNP) on a coding region onto an amino acid sequence in RefSeq.
(The information about mapping is obtained from dbSNP.)
Search homologous proteins in the 3D structure database (PDB) by BLAST.
Map SNP on the 3D structures of proteins with sequence identity more than 95%.

The RasMol color is the following.
asa_std <= 30%   asa_std > 30%

2) Database of Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) located in the gene regulation region

This is the database of Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP) mapped on regulation region. We can search genes mapped snp on regulation region.
